Cheaptofix.co.uk is operated by FIX COM based in London and in trade for the last 3 years by the same people who made reballing easy and affordable. we are a team of 5 engineers who have at least 10 to 20 years experience in all types of technology and systems. all our training has been in the heart of technology repairs in Honk Kong where we went to train especially for BGA Reballing.
We have two branches in East London Ilford and South East London Greenwich which offer the same services as advertised on our website but different prices, our Ilford branch is cheaper due to lower rates but far to reach for most Londoners so if you can not use our online services feel free to drop it off to one of our branches or even pick it up anytime, just give us a 24h notice.
It all started when Lorentzo Boukas, an IT Student went to Honk Kong for a holiday, he cameback with a brain 5 times his normal size because of what he learned from the chinese nerds, he then started this whole techniques that british engineers never heard of and you can ask any computer tech "Do you do reballing?", it's simply replacing the solder on any silicone chip so it can connect with the motherboard properly, it usually goes bad because of the excess heat that it can't take anymore. the problem it's not as easy to do.
Lorenzo brought with him a very expensive kit to start doing this service for the british money saver, we first started to charge £200 for this service but we didn't make much business from this, so Lorentzo went back to Honk Kong and asked for a special order, a machine that can do this difficult service many times at once, 2 weeks later he returned with a Laser beast, this machine can use laser technology to locate each solder joint and can do it 5 times faster than traditional ways and half the man power.
We don't like "made in china" either, we never buy replacement screens or cheap power adapters, we always insist on original parts for your computer however we obtain them at very low prices and direct from the manufacturer. except "LCD screens, AC adapters, Hard Drives and Casing" most other parts are either used in A1 condition or refurbished but still carry the same warranty as new.
We have special skills and techniques we use to make your service worth-while. we obtain the latest repair tools from the leading manufacturers and have direct access to original parts and accessories so you can always rely on us to obtain the cheapest prices available, we prefer to lose money and win a client's satisfaction.
We also work with other great IT companies in busy times, these are just as reliable and effective and have been trained by us for your peace of mind.
Our repairs are usually done the sameday if not the next if only 1 problem needs to be repaired, however sometimes for example you needed a new screen and we fitted that, but the engineer noticed that your fan is too noisy and loud and needs to be replaced he might prefer to do that later on because either he doesnt have that part in hand or someone else needs to do it so it might delay the repair a bit because we cant send you back a laptop with a very noisy fan, it's just unprofessional and ignorant we think and whilst it's with an engineer's hand might aswell fix it.
Costs are set prior to any repairs, you must pay first for any repairs needed if your repair will exceed the amount you've paid we will contact you first to let you know and if you're not satisfied with the extra charges we'll refund your money and undo any services. we have to be honest, we can't refund you straight away we have to analyse your case and only our manager "Lorentzo" can decide what to do, we work close with the trading standards and the laws of trade in the UK and our priority is you first.
To keep prices low, we do not offer telephone services, everything can easily be managed online, our deliveries via Citylink, it's also manageable online. our email enquiries are usually replied very quick and within 24h but usually in just under 1h. in the worst case you can pop-in to our office in Ilford for any of your needs.
